About the Event
Santa’s Auction is the REALTORS® Community Foundation's largest and most relied-on fundraising initiative of the year, held annually each holiday season to generate critical funds for our organization.
Hosted together with the REALTORS® Association of Edmonton Christmas Party, the event is attended by approximately 400 REALTORS® and industry partners. It features food, entertainment, a large Silent Auction available both in-person and online, and other fundraising activities, including:
the chance to win a beautiful piece of jewelry through the famous Sparkle Raffle;
a Live Auction of high-value items;
an Advent Calendar Raffle featuring assorted prizes valued at $50-$200;
a 50/50 Raffle; and
a Candy Apple Activation to match this year’s event theme!
Tickets for the live event are limited to members of the REALTORS® Association of Edmonton and sponsors who have acquired tickets with their package. Additional tickets are not for sale. The Silent Auction will be available online to both event attendees and the general public starting November 24.

To make Santa's Auction a success, we need high-quality prizes that encourage bidding. We appreciate donations of products and services to support our cause.

This is not an all-inclusive list, but rather some ideas for prizes that have been a hit in past years:
Experiences such as 'behind-the-scenes access' or 'dinner for 8' often have a higher perceived value than a gift certificate equivalent.
Gift cards in values that fully cover at least a standard visit and do not include restrictions (such as 'new clients only') are preferred.
Tickets to shows and sporting games.
Holiday items are welcome. The auction closes on December 4th, which makes it a great stop for holiday gift and decor shopping.
Memorabilia or 'invaluable' items typically do very well in a silent auction format.
Items from local businesses; as REALTORS® are local business people, we also enjoy bringing attention to other local business owners.

Donations must have a minimum value of $100 to be guaranteed a stand-alone spot in the auction. Items of lesser value may be bundled with other items to maximize return.
Your item may be used for our Advent Calendar raffle.
Your item may be used for our Candy Apple Activation.
Branded or SWAG items will not be accepted.
Used items other than memorabilia will not be accepted.
Items must be ready for pick up prior to November 20th, 2025.
Donation receipts will be issued according to CRA standards. This excludes services and caveats for gift cards. (Read more about gift cards and services.)

Each year, the REALTORS® Community Foundation grants more than $300,000 to local charities, made possible through fundraising events like Santa’s Auction. Your support enables our operations and ensures we can continue funding housing and community initiatives who need it most, fostering stronger, more vibrant neighbourhoods in the greater Edmonton area.
